The vigorous slashes of colour that characterise the distinctive style of my work have arisen from years of independent tutelage in the medium of palette knife oil painting.

I constantly glean inspiration for my work from my surroundings. This is made particularly evident by the propensity for my pieces to incorporate the enchanting Skerries Seascape or the magnificent courtyard of the 15th century restored watermill where my studio is based.
