Self-Portraits in Colour Cube

For the month of August, we have been working on self-portraits in the Colour Cube Membership online course. When I set self-portraits as the August Challenge, there was a sharp intake of breath from all the Colour Cubers!!!   But as we have progressed through the month there have been some amazing portraits painted and everyone so surprised at what they have achieved once they put their minds to it. Lights, Camera, Action

Earlier this month I had the pleasure of working with Jenny from Stand Out Films. She was helping me set up the studio for filming for my new online courses. We had so much to learn about lighting, camera angles and sound. But Jenny made the process run like clockwork. With her help, we managed to get our first course recorded and a few intro videos too. Free Zoom Art Classes End

Our last free zoom art class was on 13th June. It is hard to believe that they ran for 13 weeks in total. Thanks to everyone who took part with over 50 people signed up. We kept each there going through the lockdown and our paintings improved too. It was good fun and a learning curve on Zoom!!! But it is now time to get back to normal.
