Last week was the annual Dublin Plein Air Festival and what a week it was.
Our first day was in Newbridge House, in Donabate
Our next day was Balbriggan Harbour and Beach.
Then it was the Botanic Gardens in Glasnevin.
Malahide Castle where I found a lovely old door to paint.
Ardgillan Castle and Demesne
Farmleigh, and it’s fabulous rose garden.
Our last day was Skerries and I have wanted to paint this scene for ages. Love the view looking back over the town from Red Island.
Can’t believe it is all over for another year. Hopefully by next year everything will be back to normal. Looking forward to it already.
Do you paint?? Definitely give it a go. The Dublin Plein Air Festival is a fabulous event and if you enjoy painting you should definitely consider taking part. Check out the website here.
